I'm so excited to be posting Katelyn and James' wedding! I really enjoyed getting to know the two of them. They have a great spirit of adventure and I love that they packed up their apartment and drove across the country with Rudy, their Black Lab, just a week before their wedding! A lot of couples could get easily stressed out with that much going on but they were in excellent hands with the fabulous Randi of Silver Toad Events planning their big day. Katelyn got ready at the Woodstock Inn and the wedding ceremony was conveniently across the street. But why walk across the street when you have an antique pickup truck that you can circle the town square in once on the way to the church? While they exchanged vows inside the church Rudy waited patiently at the door for them to come out. After a portrait with Rudy we headed to the town of Woodstock's covered bridge for a fun portrait, then off to the Barnard Inn for their reception. I count my lucky stars every time I wrap up an edit that I do what I do for a living and get to meet such amazing people as they celebrate these milestones in their lives. I had a ton of fun with everyone and I hope our paths cross again!
"I just want to meet all of them!" is what one of our beautiful brides said to me recently. She was referring to all the amazing couples we have photographed in 2016 and it was the most perfect statement as it showed that we are doing what we aim to do; photographing our couples to show their personalities and tell their unique stories. Enna and I are so grateful for the year we had! So many amazing couples and moments and we are honored to have been right there to document it. We adore all of you and thank you so much for trusting us to tell your story. It was incredibly difficult to narrow it down to a reasonable number, so we decided to keep it only to weddings, and here are our absolute fav's of 2016! Grab a drink, sit back, and we hope you enjoy the images. Cheers!
