A fun engagement session on the NH SeacoastRead More
I had a ton of fun getting to know Michael and John as we walked throughout their neighborhood and surrounding area for their engagement session. We had to reschedule the session from our original date due to this very wet spring weather we are having, but it was worth it. Referred to us by friends of theirs whose wedding we photographed, their wedding will be this December at The Jones River Trading Company and we can't wait to see them again!
With almost exactly a year to go until they tie the knot, I met up with Rachel and Artem at Harkness Memorial State Park in Ct for their engagement session. It was a brutally cold and windy December day, but they loved being there and were true champs showing off their style and love for each other and their new pup Brie (who I totally fell in love with). Rachel and Artem will be married next December with an outdoor ceremony at one of our favorite venues, the Saltwater Farm Vineyard. I am so excited about them having an outdoor ceremony in the winter at a gorgeous vineyard! There's something incredibly romantic about braving the elements and celebrating your love for each other in the cold of December. I'm also incredibly curious as to how the vineyard will look and what I can do with it in images. For the session they brought a couple of blankets that we used to keep them warm, and Brie, the wonder pup.
I want to write a ton about these two! But I did their engagement session just days before their wedding - which just happened yesterday! So you'll have to wait to hear my story of how we met when I share photos of their epic wedding :) So for this post I am only going to share that it was shot on 120 film (Tri-X and Fuji 400) and then I'll shut up and let these awesome portraits speak for themselves! I can't wait to post their wedding!! Congratulations you two ~ XOXO Matt
This is the barn where Katie and Ben will celebrate their wedding later this summer... I'm putting the finishing touches on their engagement session pics and can't wait to share them all... just had to put one on our blog right away!
