Le Bleu Featured on The Bachelor

If you were channel surfing last week, or if you're a fan of the show, you probably saw ABC's The Bachelor fly his dates to Anguilla for a week long stay. Enna and I caught the episode and enjoyed it because we are quite familiar with Anguilla - we are fortunate to have photographed several weddings there. We have photographed in most of the locations featured on the Bachelor episode. The island is small enough that we know our way around quite well (okay, that's also partly due to the fact that Enna obsessed about learning every fact about Anguilla that she could before our first visit there... just ask her if you want a recommendation for the best pastries on the island). At our last wedding there, we did a Day After (aka Trash the Dress) photo session at Le Bleu Villas, where last week's Bachelor "Rose Ceremony" was held. Le Bleu and its sister property Indigo (right next door) are absolutely gorgeous venues for a wedding! We can't say enough about Anguilla and the beautiful people who live there. If you're planning a Caribbean wedding and want a place that is luxurious yet off the beaten path, definitely look at this island, and be sure to contact us as we'd love to be your photographers!

Here are a few of our favorite pictures from our photo shoot at Le Bleu, where The Bachelor's Rose Ceremony was held:

Starr & Ross : A wedding at cap juluca , anguilla

Starr and Ross were recently married on the beautiful island of Anguilla.  It was a joy to witness their happy love, and to spend time getting to know their wonderful family and friends (and boy, those Southern boys can dance!). It has been a long time since Starr first called us to inquire about photography, and since then I have flown to their home town of Birmingham AL for their engagement session, had many phone conversations and so many more emails getting to know them, and now I am finally posting their wedding photos. It was a great journey, and as with every couple we meet and document, we post these images with mixed emotions: loving that we can share them, and sad that it's over. Enna and I loved returning to Cap Juluca for our second wedding there this year and it was very special  having their amazingly friendly staff remember us and treat us so kindly.

We were also joined by some of our best friends Alex and Julie of Elysium Productions who produced an amazing video of the day and are patiently waiting for me to make good on our Lakers/Celtics bet.  For the day after photo session we were lucky to to use the beautiful grounds of Villas Le Bleu and Indigo and had some amazing clouds as the sun set.

Thank you Starr and Ross. It has been an amazing year getting to know you and making these images for you:)

Please check out their images and leave some love:)
