We are excited to be blogging Rachel and Artem's winter wedding! These two lovebirds married each other Christmas weekend at Saltwater Farm Vineyard and they embraced the brisk December air with joy! In fact, they were so excited about having their winter wedding that they not only had their engagement session the winter before to keep the same feel in their images (click here to check it out), they also held their ceremony outside in the vineyard.
I met up with Rachel in the bridal suite overlooking the vineyard where she was joined by her mom and grandmother. Rachel and Artem sent each other gifts which they each opened in private, then they headed outside for their first look. Rachel never complained about the cold once and was prepared with a fur shawl and her red coat to stay outside longer for portraits. She even brought some christmas tree lights to wrap herself and Artem in for a portrait. later in the day, as I was standing inside the hanger looking out, I noticed the reflection of the vineyard's tree lights on the glass and was able to a photo of Rachel standing in the field, surrounded by the reflection. As the sun began to set the guests arrived to find custom fleece blankets on their ceremony chairs to keep warm. The ceremony was lit with lanterns, short and sweet, and as guests entered the reception area they were greeted with a warm cup of cocoa. Rachel and Artem's family and friends showered them with love and support and they all danced the night away inside Saltwater Farm's gorgeous hangar. Congratulations Rachel and Artem!!!
