Andrea and Adam were married on October 18, 2014 with a ceremony at the All Saints Church in Lancaster, NH, followed by a reception at the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH. Matt and I loved every minute of this Mount Washington Hotel Wedding.
Adam and Andrea are New Hampshire natives who live and work in Washington, DC. They did a great job showing off their beautiful home state to their guests from near and far. Matt and I were commenting that the drive between the hotel and church was a great way to really show off the White Mountains, which we also love so much! Throughout the whole day, Adam and Andrea treated everyone like family. We loved watching how they embraced their guests and had fun with every single person in the room.
Andrea's dress was covered in beautiful lace, and the fabric under the lace was a pale blush color. Very unusual, and very stunning! And Andrea wore it well! Adam choose USA flag socks, which the whole congregation caught a glimpse of when they kneeled during the ceremony.
We love the photo of Andrea's sister helping her adjust her dress in the mirror. Her sister stayed by her side throughout all the preparations and festivities—they have a very lovely relationship.
The ceremony was the first time that Adam saw Andrea, and then we were able to capture the two of them alone as soon as we got back to the Hotel. Luckily, the blustery weather cleared JUST long enough for portraits with the beautiful old grand hotel in the background. The reception was a blast, and the details were perfect. We loved how this amazing couple succeeded in balancing formal elegance with fun.
Thank you, Andrea and Adam, for trusting us with this special day; we were so honored to capture it for you! Hopefully we'll see you in NH or DC soon!
